BRIDGETON, Mo. - A Taco Bell employee in Missouri lost her job after a video depicting a profanity-laced tirade against Muslims went viral, KTVI reported.
The May 14 incident took place around 1 a.m. in the drive-thru at the fast-food restaurant in Bridgeton, the television station reported. According to a tweet by Tarek Hamdan, who recorded the exchange, he had a “25-minute debate” with a worker who insisted “all Muslims are terrorists.
“It’s not what you think and what you see in the news,” Hamdan tells the worker in the video. We don’t follow those people. Those people are monsters. Those people are disgusting. Those are the people who make the religion look bad.”
After uttering a slur against Muslims, the woman, who had given Hamdan her phone number, invited him to call her to change her mind, according to the video.
“They tore down my country,” the worker said. “They killed thousands of my people. So you need to change my mind, and I’m not going to cater to you, you’re going to need to cater to me ’cause this is on my territory.”
In a statement, Taco Bell officials said the employee had been fired.

Missouri is an at will employment state. Anger your employer and suffer the consequences.
Exactly. All you should say to a customer is, “Thank you. Here’s your food. Have a nice day.”

Yep. I was feeling for the muslim customer, right up until CAIR got involved. Then, I stopped caring.
Like the fool who berated a Chick Fil A employee because of their stand on gay marriage while the young lady at the drive up window maintained her composure. He proudly put is rant up on Yutube and got canned from a good job. But, yeah, there’s many Moslems who also despise the radical elements of Islam, they need to be more outspoken.

True. The worker was extremely unwise to have that "debate" while at work.
Unfoertunately, if the worker had exactly the same "debate" with the Muslim fellow at his own house, on his own time, the video would probably still get him fired if TacoBell heard about it. Companies fire employees for their private behavior all the time, especially if it's politically incorrect and causes embarrassment to the company.
At 1:00am? I suspect the “customer” was just hanging out wasting time and engaging the employees in conversation while they clean up. Must not have been very busy as he was parked in the drive thru for 25 minutes.
There is no “moderate” Koran.
The President of Turkey thinks the term moderate Islam is insulting. He says there is only Islam.
Taco Bell needs to hold firm and stand behind their employee. The Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are subversive scum.
They’re never going to win the Franchise Wars this way.
