"Woman Engineers" are incompetent pains in the ass.
I used to work with one of the incompetent ones. She had to make an aluminum template for something and didn’t know how to convert a tape measure to decimal. The non-engineer in the group did it for her. (me)
Then, she was supposed to drill holes in the 1/4? aluminum and was complaining that she needed a new bit because she worked for 1/2 hour on one hole. I grabbed the drill and flipped the switch to “forward” and sent her on her merry way.
When my son started engineering school, he had a good grasp of tools and fabrication from several years on a robotics team. Two summers working for a home remodeler while he was in school also helped.
