This was well known at the time. It didn’t matter. All that mattered was electing a black president.
So after the first black president was elected, after we all had the chance to see what a joke he turned out to be, those who elected him had to make excuses for him & tried to brag him up for no good reasons.....and then after that wasn’t bad enough...they turned around & re-elected this guy. No reasonable explanation for that kind of stupidity. Some would have even elected him for a 3rd term if it were possible. How anyone could do that & call themselves “American” is beyond me.
And only half-black at that.
