I have a special connection with Britney Spears. After I stopped watching TV and almost completely stopped paying attention to pop culture, she was the first celebrity I know practically nothing about. I know her name and can recognize her face, and that's it.

But I also have sympathy for people in the public eye, especially if they got famous at a young age. I'd wig out too if seemly everyone followed my every move, wrote letters, loved me or hated me even if they didn't know me. Maybe she should just take the money and run, fame doesn't seem to be doing her good.
