Its May. Soon June.

I recall that Siberia (which borders the ‘artic ocean’) has brief summers which usually hit 90 degrees AND HAS FOR A LONG TIME (I remember this fact from a National Geographic TV documentary about the Trans Siberian RR from many pre-algore decades ago).

The ‘Climate Change’ fraud is based on ignorance (including willful) as well as denial.

A couple hundred miles north of Anchorage lies a town that had a record high temperature in 2012. Last record before that was in 1962.

1962 was only 13 years after US Govt began temperature monitoring in 1949. Number of years between records was 50 years.

Begs question what is the cycle? What causes it?

Correlate hot spells with aberrant sun activity and cloud cover. There could have been a lot of record hot days if not for cloud cover.

Point is the science is dismal and is funded by ideology.

Geostationary satellites could help but they are used for comms and not politics. I would expect military has the satellite data but are not concerned as there is no mystery else the data would have been bandied about nonstop during Obama era.

Logic works.

Great post! Now for the math side of the equation:

Let’s put on our math thinking caps.

The total mass of Earth’s atmosphere is about 5.5 quadrillion tons.

Man has produced how many tons of CO2 over the industrial age?

What % of the earth’s atmospheric tonnage does that amount to?

I’m probably being too conservative here: We have produced only 0.00022% of ALL CO2 in the atmosphere—that’s it—and since natural CO2 is just .004% of the atmosphere, that means we’re only responsible for such a SMALL % of the total atmosphere that it’s not even significant in the slightest. There is simply NO way man can be responsible for global climate change—none!

‘Scientists’ should be ASHAMED of themselves for even suggesting man is responsible!

Our atmosphere is comprised of 6 quadrillion tons of molecules- 6 quadrillion folks! ALL natural and man made CO2 amounts to just 8 billion tons. That’s NOTHING compared to the sheer volume of atmosphere—it practically doesn’t even register. It is such a small portion of our atmosphere that there is absolutely NO way such a small amount can capture near enough heat to raise our earths temps one iota—period!

Man-made carbon dioxide emissions throughout human history constitute less than 0.00022 percent of the total naturally emitted from the mantle of the earth during geological history.

Of course it’s relevant—climates change all the time. CO2 spikes all the time. There is no scientific doubt about that and to try to blame climate change on 0.00022% of the atmosphere is ludicrous regardless of how old you might think the earth is. The fact remains the total amount of CO2 produced by man for the whole of the industrial age is just 0.00022% in relation to the total tonnage of atmosphere. Someone please explain to everyone how just 0.00022% of the atmosphere can cause global climate change? Please explain how just 0.00022% of our atmosphere can capture enough escaping heat, then back radiate a FRACTION of that heat back to earth to cause climate temps to rise? And note, I’m being generous because not all of the 0.00022%, over the industrial age, is still in the atmosphere.

Like poster fhayek said in post #15: Right now the CO2 levels are 415 parts per million. “415 parts per million is .0415% of the atmosphere. In other words, the atmosphere is 99.96% NOT carbon dioxide. Water vapor is a much more plentiful greenhouse gas, only the leftists can’t spin a narrative about evil oil companies producing water vapor.”

"Miss the weather."

You're not missing anything this year. It has been the wettest and coldest winter/spring I can remember. We had a cold rainy front on Memorial Day. It was bizarre.
