Today in Point Barrow, AK (United States’ northernmost city), the high is 17.

January’s high was minus 7. The temp for July (the warmest month) is forecast to be a balmy 35.

Coolest May that Texas has had in years.

Portends a hotter than normal summer for us in North Texas. I'm enjoying the cooler than normal weather, except when temps were in the low 50s last week.

My yard is looking nice and green, and my two fruit trees in my backyard are finally bearing fruit, four years after they were planted. So far, I've seen one solitary apricot, and one solitary cherry. LOLOL

Meanwhile, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere eclipsed 415 parts per million for the first time in human history.

If a stadium was filled with a million people and only 415 of them were wearing blue shirts, do you think you could find one of them?

Scientists have reconstructed the climatic development of the Arctic Ocean during the Cretaceous period, 145 to 66 million years ago. At that time the poles were devoid of ice and average temperatures of up to 96° degrees Farenheit prevailed in the oceans.

Interesting, that little factoid about CO2 being assumed equal worldwide. Where I work, we have CO2 sensors in our air handlers, and no two sensors show the same level. The levels are constantly changing minute to minute, and readings vary anywhere from 300 to 450ppm, but average around the 385 ish mark.

Anomalies happen. And yet North America keeps experiencing below average temps for middle May with cold rain and even snow in some areas. How can this be?

Mission Viejo, SoCal is due for cold rain on Thursday and more rain on Sunday. The entire week is forecast in 60's. What happened to our global warming this spring? Mammoth and Sun Valley are not closing their ski runs until July 4th! BTW, there was no El Nino this year in Cali this winter for all the rain. Plus, that's usually a warm rain. I've live here all my life.

I'm still waiting for islands to disappear and Florida to turn into a giant lake.

BTW, wasn't this like the 11th year with minimal hurricanes? Seems solar physicists have been spending too much time at their conference parties to notice the lack of Sun Spots. I can hear their banter now, "The Sun is so cool to study", without realizing the irony.

That’s 30.5*C.

That’s on Windy.com

Saturday’s steamy 84-degree reading was posted in Arkhangelsk, Russia

One high-temperature reading in one place on one day certainly proves that the global climate is changing catastrophically and only socialism can fix it. /s

Nice try, WaPo.
But one of your really big problems is the fact that many of we readers out here actually have math/physics degrees and are well aware of your silly little first grade journalism tricks when we try to fool people into thinking you know anything about real science.

A polar vortex coming from the Artic and freezing areas far south of the Artic = weather.

Some warm air gets sucked up north to the Artic and warms it a bit = a climate change apocolypse.

See, AOC is right! Even with your sarcasm, you subconciously admit that the cow farts really are going to set the Earth on fire!

Thanks to Bill Nye and AOC for stepping up and making these points so that the liberals can raise carbon taxes and save us all from hellish deaths!
