I am sure any freeper in SC will answer your post but you may (if you are able to swing it) have her go to a Christian school in the area...I am not saying bullying doesn’t happen there but you may find the teachers and staff stopping it hard and quick if it happens. Plus with new surroundings she may flourish versus lawsuit and staying there. Though I would still be absolutely suing over her being punched- record EVERYTHING!

My sister went through this with her son during middle school. She went up to that school EVERY SINGLE DAY and also showed up at the school meetings. She made it such a big deal parents boycotted the school and it ended up for several weeks on the local news stations. It got fixed but the principal stepped in and made sure all classes were changed so that my nephew wasn’t even in the vicinity of the bullies classes so there paths didn’t cross plus they would touch base with him quietly throughout each day ...

Why schools won't have parent - or grandparent - volunteers to monitor the school grounds during recess or lunch is beyond me. Heck, even pay them a minimum wage, although I suspect there will be plenty of volunteers.

We had yard duty ladies all over the place, and our bathrooms had a monitor as well, so no sneaking off for a smoke. If kids wanted to fight they'd have to go off campus or in the alley behind the school to do their business.

Bullying has escalated dramatically in the last couple of decades. I suspect a little supervision would go a long way.
