NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is denying allegations that he helped thieves steal thousands of dollars in merchandise, including a 400-pound crystal, from a yoga studio in southern California.
According to The Associated Press, Ali Shah, the owner of Vibes Hot Yoga in Newport Beach, claims that Rodman and three others came into the studio last week and "worked together to distract an employee" as they stole the massive amethyst crystal and clothing.
TMZ shared surveillance footage from the store that appears to show a man attempting to pick up the geode, which fell to the floor and shattered. The video shows the group placing the pieces of the crystal onto a dolly and leaving the store with it, USA Today reported.

Are they SURE it was him?
/sarc
How racist to presume it was a black man that did it. /s
The curious line is they were offered as gifts and I was just helping her retrieve the crystal
Uhhhh...
Did the perp have any identifying features?
Presents for The Dear Leader..?
Did they get a good description?...................
Uh I don’t think they meant for you to smash the crystal when they said smash and grab.
Seriously they broke the huge rock and still left with it. Wtf.
Yes, I know you did not write the headline.
That said, clickbait!!!
I wanted to see a 400-pound amethyst crystal.
It was a geode and not even close to 400 pounds!!!
Yet another MSM disappointment.
Looked more like maybe 100lbs. And the dumbass dropped it!
Risky Business
I laughed my ass off when I saw him drop it. Still, I imagine the broken pieces could be sold for decent money at yard sales, flea markets, off Craigslist, on Ebay, etc. And it certainly didn’t weigh 400 pounds. About all that scrawny thief looked capable of handling was maybe 80 pounds.
Chuck Daly would know how to handle this one.
Was Kim Jong involved somewhere? Perhaps eating the twinkies in the getaway car???
It does seem quite obvious to me, judging by the footage, that this was a shoplifting crew.
How strange!
