Jon Snow has no choice now but to slay the mad queen. But he will have to get past Greyworm. Interesting that there were many instances of green fire during the battle and I couldn't help but notice when Jon Snow saw Davos during the battle and he then immediately started retreating. Coupled with Tyrion asking Davos about smuggling something just before the battle? Do they off the last dragon with green fire?

Either way, I will be very disappointed if Tyrion does not end up sitting on the Iron Throne. I mean, come on. If you're handing out MVPs?...

But alas, they'll probably find a way to weasel Sansa in there with Bran as her hand.

I watched one of those supergeek post show analyses and he said that when the Mad King was threatening to burn King’s Landing down he had those firebombs planted all over the city but Jamie killed him before he could set them off. That was what was exploding around the city.

I don’t think Jon Snow kills the Queen, but I do think someone does. Often writers will show a character doing bad things, so that when they die the viewer will feel that they had it coming. The writers have done that with the Queen. They have also emphisized Jon’s ambivalence about being a king. It would not make sense for Jon to acquire kingship by his own act, like by slaying the Queen himself, but it would fit better if it happened by circumstance.

Tyrion was asking for his brother. He was wanting Davos to smuggle Jaimie out before Danerys had her dragon kill him. That is why Jaimie was on the beach, where he ran into Euron.

I can easily see Sansa sitting on the throne after Jon gets killed by Dany.

Can’t see Tyrion surviving.....

"Coupled with Tyrion asking Davos about smuggling something just before the battle?"

If I understood this right, Tyrion was planning a way for Jaime and Cersie to escape. So he had Davos put a boat by a little known exit from the castle. Unfortunately Euron showed up at the spot and Jaime had to waste time fighting Euron. But had Jaime succeeded, he and Cersie would have escaped by boat to start a new life.

I assumed he was talking about smuggling his brother Jaime out of the camp undetected.

There is no Iron Throne -- Danaerys smashed/melted it.

My guess is that The Seven Kingdoms will return to their pre-Targaeryen state of being just seven kingdoms, with separate Kings/Queens.
