For years they allowed those daily devotionals from fraudster Joel Osteen and if that wasn’t bad enough, no one was allowed to comment on the thread that was critical of the huckster. Glad those days are over.

I know exactly what you're talking about. And I'm religious. And his stuff is always TOTALLY CREEPY.

It was so bad it had me thinking maybe he was some SPLC guy, trying to turn people off to Christianity.

I growled a few times, but somehow it seemed to strengthen his delusions that he was doing good.

Feeling persecuted, he seemed to get off on being a vaguely Christ-like figure.

It's SICK.

Not commenting on this specific example, but this comes close to my one gripe with FR.

I try to be respectful and differential to other’s beliefs, but it is difficult when people try to pass off horrible shysters and parochial interests as “news”
