Excellent post.

Saul was a de facto murderer by conspiracy.

Abraham was an adulterer who married his 1/2 sister.

Joseph was, by implication a braggart and show-off tempting his brothers to sell him into slavery.

Ezekiel preached while naked.

Jacob had 4 wives (One more than PDJT) and was also a conman, swindler, and dishonest businessman.

Can we discuss the sin of Noah that so embarrassed his sons after the the flood?

John Mark abandoned Paul and Luke

Pontius Pilate is considered to be a Saint by the Eastern Orthodox church (I think) because he evidently repented after sentencing Jesus, but still would you vote for that guy?

The Bible is full of fallen people that are used by God.

And, one of only three people that we KNOW are in heaven from the Biblical record is the thief on the cross. (Enoch and Elijah are the other two) and none of them, as far as we know were baptized!

Don't accept the premise.

Trump's humility before God occurred after his philandering. Might as well call Augustine of Hippo satan’s child because he sowed his oats all over the place too before he embraced Christ.

The whole Saul/Paul example too. Left is trying to Aliskify Christians, don't take their bait, shove the truth down their throats as a response.

I saw the following question in a cartoon a couple of days.

Who in this world offers you hope?

For me, it’s President Trump.

Solomon was condemned and never repented sadly based on what was written.

David repented but was punished because God is a God of justice as well. Leaders or anyone else are held in high authority, especially if you abuse God’s grace which David did. Child died in spite of fasting, Absalon ran a train through his father’s wives then started a civil war, David’s daughter, who he wanted to marry off to a prince in another kingdom was raped by Davis’s eldest son.. This was after David repented too. David lived a life of torment after what he did to Uriah despite being forgiven. Like I said, God is a just God who seeks to humble, not create a fairytale on earth.

When Trump was a philaderer, he did not pretend to be tight with God. Huge difference.

Since there are still ‘never-trumpets’ parked on FR ... I will choose my words carefully.... What the Frenches are ignorant of, is how God ‘loves’ those that love their country.

The story of Jacob and Esau is quite insightful in how things turn out...
Esau was the elder, and in line for the inheritance and the blessing... However, it is written that even before they were born having done anything, God loved Jacob and he hated Esau...

God made sure that Jacob received both the blessing and the inheritance... So what did the flesh man Esau do ... he sold his inheritance ‘birthright’ for a bowl of ‘RED’ pottage (lentils)... God hated him for that...

God blesses those that protect their birthright/inheritance ... Open borders is for the heathen..

Everything you say is true.

I was just trying to point out that the Never Trumpers on moral grounds couldn’t have supported the men who wrote the Bible. It is simply an exercise in self righteousness on their part.

Not to mention, look at The PIAPS and her sins!

I am an ordained minister who has never been drunk, much less drugged, and who has lived a chaste life.

Incredible!
