Can an adulterer be a great surgeon? If your child needed care and the best surgeon had cheated on his wife, maybe more than once, would you let him operate? What if you are a Christian and he is not? Does that matter? Should it? In the secular realm of everyday lifethe life that takes place outside the church in which believers and unbelievers interact, mostly happily, mostly without even noticing (or often having any way of knowing) the differencethose questions should answer themselves.

Actually, our current President is more righteous than our current Pope.
I don’t know why Christians get all worked up about this. It was clear from her speeches Hillary was going to force Christians to accept things against our faith, such as abortion and homosexuality, and to punish those who refused. Trump was the only alternative to Hillary in that voting booth. Certainly in terms of his behavior since being in office he is far better for Christians than they could have hoped for. And compared to Slick Willy he is a saint.
Hillary Clinton: “Rights have to exist in practice, not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.”
i am a strong Christian/ 30 years + now. I love President Trump. He is a fighter and he knows right from wrong. He is courageous. He is outspoken. He is fearless. He could probably pull off Country Club manners if needed, but maybe he doesn’t care a fig about that at this point. Who cares? I think he is a gift from God, myself. Not perfect but perfect for the huge task at hand.
Presidential election is binary. It is between two humans for a leadership position. It is not for priest; it is not for head of a seminary; it is not to lead a church. He is pro-life, for heaven’s sake. Hilary is for infanticide. Right there you have the Big Ten. Commandments that is.
I detest any Christian who walks away from Trump.
God uses Broken vessels
Takes a real dumbass to even ask such a question
Gee thanks for the okay! Pfft!
I have many friends who are atheists, wikkins, humanists, and deists. Each of them has strengths that make my life and work more effective. I also am able to do for them in ways they appreciate. I witness my true faith to them without rancor or demand. They know who I am and where I stand. This includes much of my family. I cherish these friends and pray for them continuously.
I find out that they were never really genuine to begin with.
Which ancient King or leader of Israel would these people vote for?
David? Adultery, murder, pride?
Solomon? 1000 wives and concubines, at times worshiped false gods?
Hezekiah? Sin of pride in showing the Babylonians his wealth
Moses? Killed the Egyptian overlord.
What at guys from the New Testament?
Peter? He actually denied Christ.
Paul? Persecuted the church.
Yet all of these men God appeared to.
Complaining about Trump’s morality is a red herring
Good list and well stated.
There are only two great men in the bible with no negative flaws listed. Do you know who they are?
It all becomes very easy if you just focus on policy. Who is going to reindustrialize America. Who is going to put people back to work. Who is going to secure the border. Who is going to defend Christians who dont go along with abortion.
Answer that, and it all becomes much simpler. I know, Trump was a Democrat until two weeks before he declared for the presidency. But by now hes proven himself, he does what he says hell do, and doesnt quit fighting until he gets there. None of his positions were merely political, he meant every one.
And by now Ive come to believe he is a Christian. Im not sure when he found his faith, but I believe its genuine.
I think you are referring to Joseph and Joshua. It is a question I should know the answer to but it is early in the morning here and I haven’t had coffee
A MESSAGE FOR CHRISTIANS ABOUT DONALD TRUMP
WAYNE ALLYN ROOT
This says it all, went viral, and is the reason Trump got the Evangelical vote and won. (Ralph Reed could not have delivered the Evangelical vote without WAR.)
Good post, Fai.
Many Christians do not. This is NeverTrump propaganda. It is manufactured outrage, like most such media.
I am an ordained minister who has never been drunk, much less drugged, and who has lived a chaste life.
I am supposed to be the kind who recoils from Donald Trump. I decided to vote for him the day he announced.
I do not categorically approve of Donald Trump’s lifestyle. So, what? I prefer him to “Born Again” commie Jimmy Carter.
I worship the Lord Jesus Christ, not Donald Trump or any other politician - period, end of debate.
I love the way WAR goes to war for Trump.
