Digital Devastation - Tim Pool Jogs the Metrics Showing Righties are KILLING Lefties in Digital News
YouTube, Tim Pool ^ | May 9th, 2019 | Author

Tim Pool, former co-founder of Vice Media and leftishly inclined, runs through some remarkable digital media metrics:

Pool's numbers show total dominance of digital news by right-leaning media companies (photo above shows total media engagements for the year 2018).

Pool brushes aside the notion that the business models of these companies were somehow faulty. He instead chalks up these companies' failures to simpler causes, like doggedly adhering ideological positions that fail to attract and hold the attention of young people or that their viewers do not understand or relate to.

This is a great article, except the truth is the left doesn’t need specifically left-wing websites. It’s got cnn.com, msn.com, yahoo.com, marketwatch.com, cnbc.com and so on disseminating the left-wing perspective. Their content is essentially the left-wing version of right-wing websites, except they generate a ton more web traffic and ad revenues.

Given the purging of right-wing views by Google, Twitter and Facebook, the monsters of web traffic, it looks like right wing views are going to be eclipsed by yet another order of magnitude.

This is corporate sociology. This is why we cannot have bail outs and must have proper lay offs.

When you buy out someone’s talent, you kill that talent with time. Communist try to steal it outright and murder it.

Capitalism is not great but at least it can restructure itself while communism kills, period.

Note that...

1) Five Right-Wing Publishers beat the 1st place Left-Wing Publisher
2) The total for the top 5 Right-Wing Publishers is 370 thousand against the total for the top 5 Left-Wing Publishers of 82 thousand.

No wonder the Stalinist of the Left are using Big Brother social media to censor their opposition.

Agree:

By resorting to heavy leverage I think they’re basically saying, ceteris paribus, they can’t compete.

Conservatives should realize that people like Tim Pool and Scott Adams are their allies, far more than their enemies.

Well the left has a head start with the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and last (and least) CNN. Why should the left go digital when they already rule in analog?
