The biggest names in fashion and Hollywood put on a true spectacle at the Met Gala on Monday night with outrageous - and at times down right ridiculous - interpretations the evening's theme, 'Camp: Notes on Fashion.' The invitation-only event, famed for its A-list celebrities and haute couture gowns, is a benefit for New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art and also marks the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit. Reality TV personality Kim Kardashian, rapper Cardi B, singer Katy Perry and Oscar-winning super star Lady Gaga were among those competing to be the night's queen of 'camp' with dramatic entrances and over-the-top ensembles.
