When I was between 2 and 4, and a brother was between 4 and 6, we’d get into some kinda trouble at home and my mom would make the two us stand facing different corners of the dinning room, and make us stay there until the older kids got home from school in the afternoon.
That’s when whatever we did did not make her so upset as to spank us on our bare bottoms, lying over her lap.

Sad but true....sometimes it takes a severe withdrawal of freedom and comfort to get a complacent young persons attention
