In a ruling that is sure to make Left-wing haters’ heads explode — again — a local judge in Charlottesville, N.C., has ruled that Confederate monuments there are protected by state law and thus cannot be removed.
According to local CBS affiliate WCAV, the ruling by Circuit Judge Richard Moore flies in the face of a trend by city councils, schools, and other political subdivisions in removing Confederate historical symbols and markers under pressure from Leftists who claim they are monuments to slavery and ‘white supremacy.’

Many Virginians were fighting the Yankee INVASION of their homes and neighborhoods. This fight had little if anything to do with slavery, and nothing to do with “white supremacy”, which hadn’t been invented yet!
The Civil War is part of our American history. The good Judge is fighting to prevent that history from being erased or distorted by ill-informed leftists!!
Put people in jail for 10 years.....with no chance for parole.

There are countless statues, busts, and other artwork in Rome and across Italy of despots who committed savagery a million times worse than any Confederate. Removing these would never even be considered in Italy. The Left are completely unhinged and, quite frankly, exhibit Fascist-like tendencies that must be stopped at every turn.

Stripping the South of its history is disgusting and I was saddened that it happened so often without a fight.

I have been proposing a park in one place to preserve ALL Civil War statues plus those suffering from knee-jerk PC jerks: Joe Paterno and Kate Smith for example. An adjoining museum would preserve all non-PC media where Speedy Gonzales can run, Amos and Andy can lay down some true insights and Snowflakes can come melt on a voluntary basis.

My family was still in Italy and Sicily at the time of the war so the statues are all just history to us.
Nothing more and nothing less. History is IMPORTANT.
And I know the statues mean a lot to southerners.
Or at least they should.
