I don’t get the relevance of the Karate Kid clip.

Daniel-san was bullied by the blonde kid and his Cobra Kai crew. He sought to improve his gung fu so as to fight back.

His visit to the dojo and bully sighting signaled the KICKOFF of his OFFENSE.

He would soon master his gung fu and learn to paint the fence and wash the car, both worthy styles.

Consider the Cobra Kai the OLD GUARD and that their SYSTEMATIC DESTRUCTION has begun.
