Phase II of the Marvel comic book cinematic universe is going to involve a few less of our classic superheros in favor of a bold new array of diverse and inclusive characters. Yes, Marvel’s going a lot more ethnic, and a lot more gay because what’s cooler than finding out that your new favorite Avenger enjoys his skintight latex suit for far more than just crime-fighting purposes?

When a Marvel movie features a hero who is a born-again Christian and is not a blatant caricature, I will believe that Disney really cares about diversity.
I hate it when they put this crap out front—as if a hero is based on what they do with their d**k.
Gays represent a significant minority; trans an even lower number. If you watch TV or movies, the percent on screen amount to SO many more than an average.
If I were a black man, this kind of focus would make me feel as though I was robbed.
I will see Spiderman: Homecoming and Guardians of the Galaxy 3, but after that?
Season 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D had a gay Inhuman named Joey who was briefly on Daisy/Quake’s Inhuman team but they really didn’t stress him being gay... More on his powers (he could met metal) and horrors of getting them rather than being homosexual. Never even showed him holdings hands with a guy, let alone kissing. After a few episodes, he dropped off the small screen.
IF they have a gay Avenger but focus on his/her powers rather than gayness it may or may not be acceptable.
After all, I still laugh at old Gomer Pyle episodes, even though I know Jim Nabors is gay.

One need only look at the destruction of the Star Wars franchise to see that. Disney will make some money on their purchase of SW but literally billions of dollars are already left on the table.
The “a Star Wars Story” line is dead and it was slated to be 10s of billions. The only merchandising is the Eps 1-6 with 4-6 doing a good chunk of that. That is ALSO 10s of billions. NO ONE wants stuff from Eps 7-8 or “Solo.”
I exclude inclusivity so won’t be watching.
They’re going to launch their new “AC/DC Comics” brand to highlight the new characters.
The President must be a tranny and the First Lady must be a multisexual dog/cat/human hybrid.
So The Blob is now a hero?
Does this mean that they are now the “Queens of the Universe.”
I remember when they used to be the “Masters of the Universe.”
I applaud every Disney franchise going full SJW. Bankruptcy is a courageous choice.

I am quite a few movies behind on the long MCU story arc. I am planning to watch the ones I skipped and check out Endgame when I get caught up. But I am definitely going to skip the Marvel Fabulous Era.
