Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has slammed the Department of Justice rules for Mueller's 'failure' to indict President Donald Trump, according to reports. Clinton claims there is a "roadmap" to an obstruction charge that's in plain sight if Congress chooses to go down that route.

That damned Constitution thingy keeps getting in her way. Saying the DOJ can prosecute the President is like saying the Congressional budget office can veto a budget Congress passes, or the 9th circuit can over-rule the Supreme court.

How can there be an obstruction charge if there is no crime to investigate in the first place? And don’t we all have the right not to participate in a criminal investigation of our own selves? How many knots can you put into the justice system?
I think you are correct on several counts.
- Well-connected elites appear to be immune from criminal responsibility on ANY issue, and there is no end to that situation in sight.
- We continue to be overrun with illegals at an accelerating pace.
- Millenials have totally consumed the socialist Kool-Aid and a few more of us assume room temperature every day.
Just a matter of time I’m afraid.
The President CANNOT obstruct the DOJ, a special counsel appointed by and subordinate TO the DOJ, or that minor bureau, the FBI.
A president can fire any of them without cause. He can direct an investigation to be started or stopped. He can even personally conduct the investigation if he so desires. He can over-ride the result of any investigation with his absolute pardon power.
Given that, how the F can he “obstruct” them?
If a president acts corruptly, THEY can investigate and impeach him. Sorry kids but that is the only method for reigning in a President. If he committed an otherwise true crime, he can be prosecuted AFTER he is impeached and removed.
Hillary isn’t a dumbass, this is deliberate. She would be America’s Hitler.

And I remember DOJ testimony from Comey and Rosenstein both saying that Trump himself was not a target of any investigation. Was that a lie under oath?

Unless the President is impeached and convicted she knows that the crosshairs can be turned to her.
All of those points, combined with a 21 trillion dollar debt and a fiat currency the world uses, and a large chunk of the world is growing to despise us.
The rest of the world is kind of out of luck though, as they’re all in worse financial shape than we are, and no viable alternative to our fiat currency is on the horizon.

I agree. She is afraid. Yet, I think convicting her is a true impossibility with the -possible- exception of a military tribunal similar to the one used on the Lincoln conspirators.
If there is one single democrat on her jury, (*impossible to seat a jury without at least one democrat unless it’s held in the Lubbock Federal Court and carefully screened.)
If there is even ONE, they will vote to acquit no matter WHAT evidence is produced.
Hence my theory, the only way to get even now is public humiliation and trial on public opinion.
Trump should have a big Rose Garden ceremony where he pardons Hillary and Obama for their crimes. Read a detailed statement about it. Pardon them for criminal misuse of national security assets to conduct political operations, for the dreaded “collusion” with foreign intelligence services (5 eyes) to conduct a coup.
Extract MAXIMUM embarrassment. Maybe we’ll be lucky and they’ll pop a critical vessel. And if not, everytime they justify their acts, just interrupt and say “Hey, let’s move on. I PARDONED her and Obama for their crimes against this country.
