No, not near me. It was Pampanga province, northwest of Manila, actually I think it was centered in Zambales province, which is where Subic Bay Navy base was. It also affected Pampanga, where the old Clark Air Base was (Angeles City) My old California Air Force friend, lives near Clark. He said it was pretty scary, but I didnt even know about it, till about 3 hours after it happened, since I am about 450 miles south of there. He told me about it, but lost power for 3 hours after the quake, so he was 3 hours late in letting me know. Unfortunately, I think there were some fatalities at Clark.
Glad all is well
Glad you and yours are okay, brother.
I know Philippines covers a huge area and my knowledge of the geography is pretty limited, to say the least.
Glad you’re OK, and sorry to hear about the losses.
Another earthquake, registering a 6.3, has hit eastern Samar earlier today, which is about 350 miles southeast of Manila. The one that hit here yesterday was a 6.1, I believe.
