As a frequent traveler, there is not an increase in turbulence. This is absurd.
Well sure, they are kinda like bartenders, ya know? Except they are also actors (the seat belt routine)...so they are obviously double-qualified to run the country.

Or maybe something simple but business related like how to model price cross elasticity - after all that's something that airlines actually do. Although I suspect that the flight attendants have very little to do with it.
I’d need to know two things regarding this article and the author before I give it any mind:
1) Is there any concrete data backing up her claims or is it all anecdotal?
2)In her 23 year experiences as a flight attendant have the number of flights each day increased, decreased or stayed the same? More flights increase the odds of bad turbulence stories.
Why do airline hosts and hostesses now call themselves “flight attendants” instead of stewards and stewardesses? “Steward” and “stewardess” are terms that connote responsibility, care and safekeeping. “Flight attendant” has the same ring to it as “gas station attendant.”
