Can someone please explain to me what the Federal government is doing regulating the number of cherries in a pie?

Is this critical?

I always wondered what government did when it wasn’t counting the gallons per flush, or the sheets per wipe. Now I know, my day has been fulfilled.

The rules for frozen cherry pies say they must be 25% cherries by weight with no more than 15% of the cherries being blemished.

Make your own then you don't have to worry about them not putting enough cherries in or them being *blemished* whatever that means, although I shudder to think.

Does this also de-regulate RUSSIAN dressing?

Collusion!

Actually the box barely contains cookies. The amount dwindles year after year.

Little Jack Horner. He wasn’t eating his cherry pie.

Relive he was eating his Christmas Pie. If it was a cherry pie being consumed, why would he pull out a plumb and not a cherry?

>>with no more than 15% of the cherries being blemished.

Does this mean when a bundle sale of old junk goes on ebay, the government will likewise mandate how much of it can be “blemished”?

I buy fresh produce at the grocery store and find mashed, undersized, and moldy product buried in those packets.

Shouldn’t fresh produce be fresh?

Or do Mexican imports get a pass?

The faculty pulled the plug on Johnny Winter’s set at the high school talent contest when he played the OTHER version of that song.

I heard it recently but don’t recall who recorded that version. Would’ve been 1960-64

Had he pulled out a cherry and not a plum, it wouldn't have been newsworthy. You can get the whole story here:

If you pull a plum out of any cherry pie, you call this man.

OMG!!! Consumers cannot decide on their own that they like the cherry pies with the most cherries in them, they NEED an FDA to “prevent” marketers of cherry pies that have only a few cherries!!!! Let’s all chant - “We NEED the FDA, We NEED the FDA. Down with Trump, We NEED the FDA”. /sarc

Cherry pie

Cherry = singular

Cherries = plural

No. It’s always been the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its radius. 3.141592653589793238 ... is just an approximation.

My thanks to everyone who provided a musical interlude with some version of “Chery Pie”. I booked marked them all in my music folder.
