Thx. I always assumed this song came out during WW II.

So we had patriotism even before the war back then. Now a chunk of us are a sad lot who are willing to exchange their freedoms for freebies.

Wonder if any kids today even know about the Alaskan Gold Rush? My kids went to public school but I still homeschooled them at night in American History and Math.
