It is almost eerie how Molinari washed his ball on two holes. He could have played much safer on 13, while on 16 he hit the pine tree and went straight down. Those two shots cost him four strokes and a chance to win.

Koepka and Schauffele stumbled a bit too. Either one could have been two shots better.

It looks like the Tiger Effect is still working!

I would put the shot at 12 as just a flat out mistake or nerves. At fifteen he was in trouble with his drive then hit that approach a little fat. Such is golf. He played almost sixty holes bogey-free, but you cannot overcome two doubles on the back nine on Sunday.

Molinari had this tournament and the pressure got to him. The hero praise for Woods is what all these great players had to put up with. The first three rounds the leaders were all but ignored while the reporting was 99% Woods worship. If Molinari hadn’t been teamed with Woods there’s a chance that golf ball ain’t going in the water. Yes Woods won it but the constant attention put on Woods is ridiculous. The best player in the world is Koepka, not Tiger Woods. Seeing other golfers get some attention for the past few years has been nice. It’s all over now. They’re all playing for second place.Just ask those so-called reporters on ESPN.
