It takes a lot of personal and political courage for a black person to stand up against any issue the far Left Democratic Party supports when it comes to its practice of identity politics, but one former ACLU leader has done just that.
During an interview on Fox News Friday, former ACLU national board member Michael Meyers called 2020 Democrats push for reparations for blacks a total scam that itself is built on racism.
Its more of that blame whitey movement mania, madness. And its sheer racial rhetoric, and thats what you get at the Al Sharpton so-called house of justice. You have buffoonery, and you have diversion, you have distraction. You have this notion of farce, Meyers said.

This is an interview that took guts in today's hyper-Left-wing racial insanity.

Even Michael Meyers is against reparations.

All real Americans, without regard to ethnicity, know 'reparations' is a scam only proffered during the election season.
IMHO, haven't the productive paid enough 'welfare' during the past 60 years?
To: SleeperCatcher
The Domestic enemy party always resorts to bribes when they campaign because they can’t run on facts because facts don’t support the crap they push. So what are they left with? Bribery and trying to make their opponents look as evil as possible.

But I am in favor of reparations...
It is way past time Democrats paid reparations to Republicans for their centuries of slavery.

Welfare was one thing, but the main “reparation” was affirmative action.
As Sandy Baby said, they don’t plan to stop it anytime soon even though any lawyuh knows it’s un-Constitutional.
As for 40 acres and a mule, that might have helped in 1865, but it didn’t happen. And most of them would have lost the land anyway - by now it would be a memory. And there would be a new demand for yet more...

I'm still waiting on reparations. My great great grandparents had their slaves taken away with NO COMPENSATION. They lost their farm (and my birthright). I think $50,000 tax free would be about right for me.

Hey, I'll still take 40 acres and a mule...

Nonsense drives out reason.
If the Pubbies are peeing on themselves over the issue of 'racism,' then there's no room for anything else.
Why we should care, IOW, about self-inflicted harm. Why we should ignore that the unequal murder and incarceration rate is driven by self-selected pathologies...why the unequal discipline rate in schools is driven by the same pathology...that any attempts to correct the pattern are met by accusations of "acting white."
It's a distraction, nothing more.
