I despise beards but that man in the video has such a beautiful, well-groomed, clean-looking beard, I’ve changed my mind.
I’m no fan of John McCain. But torture will get a man to talk. We were taught that in the military. We were taught to attempt to give some indication that things weren’t normal. Batted eyes, odd speech pattern, mistaken fact.
So, I’ll not hold McCain nearly at the level of esteem reserved for the Jeremiah Dentons of our history. He was just a normal pow probably responding to torture.
