DOJ’s Bruce Ohr Shared Email Address with Fusion GPS Contractor Wife
Breitbart ^ | 4/2/2019 | Aaron Klein

While he was a high-ranking career Justice Department official, Bruce Ohr maintained a joint email account with his wife, Nellie, who was a contractor for the controversial Fusion GPS firm that produced the infamous, largely-discredited anti-Trump dossier, according to recently released testimony.

In a section of the testimony that remains largely unreported by the news media, Nellie Ohr admitted that Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson “occasionally” sent messages to the joint email account that she shared with her husband.

In his own testimony, Bruce Ohr recounted maintaining direct contact with dossier author Christopher Steele even after the former British spy was terminated as an FBI source over reports that Steele was communicating with reporters. In doing so, Ohr lent credibility to a Republican House Intelligence Committee memo alleging that he served as a back-channel between the FBI and Christopher Steele, who penned the dossier for Fusion GPS.

The dossier was financed by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the DNC via the Perkins Coie law firm, which in turn funded Fusion GPS.

During Bruce’s time at the Justice Department, Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, where she was conducting research looking for connections between Russia and members of Donald Trump’s campaign, including Trump himself as well as the politician’s family, Nellie Ohr testified.

Interesting in that - one of the uses for a shared/throwaway account is to message privately by saving messages as drafts and never sending them (spycraft 101).

No record or tracking of messages that are NEVER SENT, exist. You go into drafts, read them message, delete it, empty the trash.

While that is true, it is also true here that Bruce and Nellie are husband and wife, and can communicate confidentially due to proximity and spousal privilege.

I don’t doubt that it was used for two main purposes:

1.) To obscure his role and identity

2.) To defeat any FOIA requests.

Nowhere, they’re gone, deleted forever. And I don’t think they can be found because they were never sent by email.

Whatever. Im at the point now where it could be revealed that Comey, Strzok, McCabe, Mueller, and Hillary flew to London and met with Steele amd GPS fusion, gave him a duffel bag full of cash and a list of stuff they made up and told him “make up a dossier with this stuff in it” and it was all on film and STILL nothing would happen to any of them.

How do create a shared email address? That’s news to me.

They shared the email address to help in their efforts to evade scrutiny and interrogation through the marital privilege protection. They cited this throughout their testimony.

Nellie Ohr, yet another one who lied while addressing Congress.

Depending on how long they were in the draft folder before being deleted it is possible it is all in the backups.

Nope. Drafts are just saved in a different folder on the cloud server, subject to back-up and retention rules that only the webmail provider knows and controls.

Usually it is at least that much.

Sometimes it is several times a day.

Me too...a “shared email account.” I’m guessing it probably means that you gave your password to somebody else and you can both use the account.
