The closest Whole Foods to me is 70 miles away. It only took one pass through the store to convince me I wouldn’t be buying anything there. The prices at that place might work for the wives of silicon valley tech moguls but trying to charge California prices in Mississippi doesn’t work for me. I’m all for eggs from fluffed, groomed, & serenaded chickens if they’re the same price as the ones at wal-mart, beyond that I don’t care because they eat the same as the cheap ones.

____________
they will be because we are apparently currently importing the slaves who will do the chicken fluffing.
Thanks.
When I give my Safeway or Raley’s club member card # to the clerk, they don’t have any access to any of my credit cards.
After I log on with my phone# or club member card, I then insert the credit card I will use that day into the standard credit card reader.
It just seems backwards, clumsy and potentially dangerous at this time.
Thanks, I just signed up for home delivery which is coming.
Costco asked me about a week ago if we would liked home delivery, which like Aldi is coming.
“Many local farmers markets are full of resellers. Ask who picked the produce, who milked the cows, etc. - surprising really. I found many to be worse than retailers.”
We stopped going to our so called local market for that reason.
We go to three local farmers stands/markets and get most of what we got at our farmer’s market. Their produce, eggs and whatever, are about as fresh as if we lived on the farm/ranches. Their prices are better than the farmer’s market.
I once worked at a competitor of WF. Steve Jobs shopped there. His wife (I was told) baked goods to be sold there and delivered them once a week, often wearing a fur coat.
I was a nutrition specialist, and never interacted with either or them, although I saw her from a distance. She may have been a nice person; none of my co-workers wanted to wait on Steve Jobs. They said he was an abusive jerk.
