The AA hockey team in Wheeling, West Virginia still has dollar beer nites. A can of Iron City or IC Light or something similar. One of the better bargains out there.
Worked in a liquor store 40 yrs ago. A guy came in every night pulled 2 quart bottles of Iron City out of the fridge and said “best beer in Pittsburg”.
Poor bastards.
