Zion committed two charges on his last drive to the basket, and Two Duke players clearly pushed two UCF players under the basket on the last Duke free throw.
Ask what the ex- coach of the Duke lacrosse thinks of K.
Yes, and instead of a charge on Zion, the tall UCF player — who had totally prevented Zion from dunking — was erroneously called for his fifth foul and tossed out of the game. It was a fake win for Duke.
I will never be mistaken for a Duke fan, trust me. And I totally agree on the bad non-calls, however... missing a “showtime” alley-oop dunk in the closing minute to go up by 6 makes it tough to complain.
But super impressed with Johnny Dawkins’ “ahem” little boy.
I used to think the same thing until Duke lacrosse. All coach K did was circle the wagons around his program, he never once stood up for those kids. Anyone paying attention knew the score within 6 weeks, and that fake hate crime went on for what? A year or more?

Zion's dad is on record for asking for money for his kid to go to Kansas....yet he winds up at Duke.
Now Kansas is under investigation for recruiting violations.

It was there for UCF at the end of the game. They had two point blank shots to win as time expired. Helluva game.
And I’m sure that if a Duke player had driven to the basket with a chance to win and been ridden and bumped as much as the UCF kid was on the final play you would have heard a cacophony of whistles. There would have been FT’s I’m sure.
And the NCAA let them skate.

IF UCF could hit a couple free throws,, They’d be in the hunt still. Close but no sweet 16 this time.
Zion reminded me of a bull, running over defenders at the end. The officating was less than adequate, imho.. but that seems to be the state of all games these days.
