The military there has the same problem the police and military have here. Your families live amongst us and we know where they are. Choose sides carefully.
The FFL goes through phases — for example, post WW2 and into the 50s the FFL was heavily made up of Germans. In the 70s and 80s there were lots of Brits. Currently as I understand one of the biggest blocs is Eastern Europeans. Even today the FFL prefers people from less than ideal circumstances, either poor countries or men with criminal records (although they don’t take murderers or pornographer). The idea being that if you’re, say, American, you’ll want to run back to the comfort of American living standards when things get rough but a Ukrainian war bet has nothing to go back to.
