The Federalist senior editor Mollie Hemingway and Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen butted heads during the Special Report “All-Star” panel over President Donald Trump’s response to the anti-Muslim shootings that took place in New Zealand last week. On Friday, President Trump expressed his condolences on Twitter for the 49 people who were shot in mosques by a white nationalist, but later dismissed the idea to reporters that white nationalism was “on the rise.” Thiessen began by calling the efforts made by Democrats and the media to link Trump to the terror attack “absurd,” but insisted that he’s “vulnerable” to such criticism because he hasn’t “definitively rejected the alt-right” in the U.S.

The Left’s anti Trump narrative will continue as long as Trump exists and will be abetted by the MSM propaganda organs. They know if they keep repeating the lies regularly , they will make critical inroads with the muddled middle that determines elections. Conservatives need a better strategy and hard accomplishments. The best accomplishment would be a functional, completed security wall on the southern border. Fail to accomplish that and the leftist scum will win and destroy the nation.

Theissen is a fundamentally dishonest hack. I saw the segment. His defense for accuracy rests on a narrow and specific repudiation, namely that Trump has not utterd any condemnation to EXACTLY “Alt Right”, whatever the devil THAT term means.
The POTUS could declare that “White Nationalism” is a greater menace than “radical Islamic terrorism” but he still wouldn’t get a pass.
I saw this and Mollie had the facts in front of her to refute the outright lie from Marc. Having been caught, Marc followed the little Red Book rules of Mainstream Media deceptive behavior, he doubled down and tried to intimidate her. She didn’t back down and made a fool of this twit. I’m sure that he got a spot bonus for his performance.
Great example of how the press works in Washington. Facts don’t count, only the Left’s approved narrative and these people are sent out to spread the phony story on all of the media platforms. They are rarely challenged and therefore what they say becomes the apparent truth.
Trump needs to denounce epithets directed at specific races. Specifically, he needs to denounce anyone casting aspersions on “whites.” Stop calling people “white supremacists” or “white nationalists.” Let’s stop trying to divide our society into “whites” and “everyone else.”
