Quant taught me how to REALLY wash dishes. And little specks can matter.
LOL! Here's something else that can matter: boiling chips.
My fave part was the mettler balances.
We did not have anything so fancy. Looks like I missed out.
Ours were bolted to a table. When they leveled the balances, they just leveled the table instead. Theft was a problem. Seems the mettlers were the preferred brand for drug dealers to weigh out their doses.
Thank you for reminding me of that Quant class. It was without a doubt the most physically dangerous class I ever took, and it was a hell of a lot of work, but I can now almost convince myself that I enjoyed it.
