Freepers mushing is a VERY HARD sport. There were 5 female mushers this year. Women can do it but it's not common. No affirmative action here you either make it or you don't.
Hillary Clinton and those type would not make it to the re start.

My interest started from watching Life Below Zero. One of the Alaskans on that show is Jessie Holmes. He started mushing a couple years ago.

I visited and got to know Jeff King when I was in Alaska. I saw his facility and met his dogs. He was as nice of a guy as anyone could imagine and very open about racing.
It was a wonderful experience.
I see he finished 13th
