As an antidote to the malign Godfather/Soprano fever, I recommend:
Pay or Die! (1960), starring Ernest Borgnine.
It is the fact-based story of NYPD Lt. Joseph Petrosino, who exposed and combatted the Old World Black Hand invading America.
After three years leading the fight against the Cosa Nostra (Sicilian Mafia), he was assassinated by them in 1909.

Dont know if the Gianni Russo, who played Carlo in The Godfather, is to be believed....but he gave a good interview on Cavuto. His description of his interaction with Brando is crazy.
Tried to post the link but couldnt get it to work. Or do a search for cavoto and Gianni Russo...you wont be disappointed.

The deep state is far more powerful than the mafia ever was-and no one dares make a movie about it, or Hillary.
