I also wonder. I am a monthly subscriber to FR, and Pookie’s Toons played a roll in my decision to do so. I doubt that I am alone. We need a real explanation and an honest answer about the whether they will be returning.
Pookie gave us the real answer, that his computer crashed. By his estimated “get-well” time, maybe we will see The Return of Pookie’s Toons” sometime next week.
Today's Toons is not an official part of FR. Pookie18 is a member but he posts the toons on another website with a link.
He's been on here a couple of times already to explain that his PC hard drive crashed and he is awaiting a new PC. Then it needs to be formatted so he can continue to post his toons. Last time he wrote, he said he hoped that would be happening this weekend.
BTW, you don't need to be a member of FR to follow Today's Toons Monday through Friday because they are posted on another website besides FR.
