Trump campaign calls on 2020 Dem hopefuls to weigh in on Pelosi’s impeachment comments

President Trump’s campaign on Tuesday called on his Democratic challengers for 2020 to say whether they support House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s stance against impeachment. “Every single Democrat running for president should be made to answer: do they agree with the Speaker who stands in opposition to baseless impeachment charges, or will they risk fracturing the country by bowing to the radical elements in their party who want to disenfranchise the American people and overturn the legitimate and lawful result of the last election?” said Trump campaign press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. Pelosi made waves Monday when she told the Washington Post that she was “not for impeachment.”

Trump using Pelosi’s own words against her.

Brilliant.

The nomination would be lost if they admitted to be against impeachment. They would lose the Nut vote and that’s the Dems largest bloc.

Absolutely brilliant. Pelosi’s “He’s not worth it” comment either means that 1) The Presidency is not important, or that 2) “We got nuthin’, move on”. There is no third interpretation. I know she meant to denigrate POTUS personally, and to demean him personally, but in reality, it can only mean one of the 2 above. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. So the dims are in a pickle. POTUS knows this.

What if they get up there and say, “I agree with the Speaker that unless it’s bipartisan then it would be divisive and Trump definitely isn’t worth it?”

I think the Dems are holding their impeachment water until 2021. Even if they tried, they can’t get past a Republican Senate with a big bag of nothing.

Agreed.

And if by some miracle they hold the house, take the senate, and impeach Trump with a big bag of nothing, it will be the biggest and last mistake they ever make.

Why wouldn’t the Democratic nominees point out that the reason they’re running for president is to get rid of Donald Trump in the usual way — by beating him in an election next year?

That would leave them not only free to bypass the divisive impeachment question, but also to pick up votes from other Democratic candidates who either remain silent or try to please both sides of the issue and come out sounding foolish.

Nanzi Pelosi and RAT Party anti-Semitic appeasement policy already has consequences, ya think? We can include the silent GOP Elites to the RAT appeasement policy because of their silence.

Not gonna happen. If Trump wins re-election, he will sh$t can all the dirty players at the DOJ and FBI. He will also be able to release the "dossiers" of all the previous bad actors, or use it as leverage for them to sit down and STFU.

Then lots of true-believing Dems would be quite disheartened. I went over to DU the other day to see how many over there reacted to her comments. The irate ones over there kept asking a simple yet reasonable question ( at least in their feeble brains): If Trump isn’t, then who is?

I work with a lot of Leftists in public education, a group of them meet literally every day in a classroom near mine to bitch about Trump and fantasize about how close he is to getting jailed. To a person they have all said that if he wins re-election in 2020, they’ll have to take time off work.
