She was probably nervous about the bomb vest the baby was wearing.
She still could have checked to make sure they were on the plane before takeoff.
When a plane gets turned around, who pays for the extra expenses?
Why doesn’t the airline place the kid on the next plane to wherever the “mother” was headed?
So many people were inconvenienced. Meanwhile a social services person could have been hired to babysit the kid on the flight.
Totally agree ... but there is more to the story than this brief excerpt shows.
“The plane SHOULD NOT have turned around.
Except maybe to arrest some idiot dingbat for leaving her baby at an airport.”
Agreed. I can’t even imagine a bus turning around over such a thing much less a plane.
“told the crew she had accidentally left her baby in the boarding area of the terminal”
Freud would have a field day with her.
Too late, the baby has already been married off to an 87 year old man.
If I’m understanding this correctly, the mother did not forget the baby or leave the baby. Instead, the baby missed the flight as the baby was with the sister who missed the flight.
When is the last time a plane turned around because of the ordinary circumstance of somebody missing flight?

Will you stop using basic common sense!! It doesn't work anymore!!
:)
she should have left her cellphone with the kiddo, she would not have forgotten THAT.
Some goat humpers say that camel urine has a calming effect plus that’s what Mad Mo said you have to drink to get to Pair of Dice.
Kevin!
