ichabod1 to TEXOKIE
HAve been to Keystone several times. Lovely place. Back in the 90s it was one of the few resorts to offer night skiing.

I have absolutely no doubt of that, ichabod1. And very likely it remains gorgeous to this day - and a lot of fun! I’m glad you had a wonderful time there, as you are indicating!

Back in those long gone days of the 90s, Keystone was kind of a regular person’s resort. In fact you could get a Ski Summit County lift pass that would allow you to ski at Keystone, Breckinridge and Arapaho Basin for one flat fee.

VAIL was the hoity toity ski town. It was where all the richie riches and poor little rich girls came to ski. Vail was considerably more expensive to stay and to ski. Sounds like they’ve largely taken over the ski industry in the Central Rockies.

My take-away, if there’s a conspiracy around Keystone and the others, I bet it centers on Vail.
