Several airlines do not permit pit bulls or a couple of other breeds (mastiffs, for one, IIRC) to be considered “emotional support animals.” They’re too unpredictable and have a bad track record, and for that reason are almost never even trained as true service animals for genuinely disabled people.

Yes.

Delta being one, since the mauling of a passenger by another passenger’s loose pit bull in the cabin last year.

If someone truly wants an emotional support animal, they need to get a Golden Retriever, or at the worst, a Lab.

Aside from the fact that they are beautiful, Goldens are the most people loving dog by far.
