Do you mind if I bring up the trend of states deciding that all their Electoral College votes will go to the winner, no matter how the state votes?
An ignorant populace is a compliant populace. Too many of our kids haven’t been taught the inherent fairness of the Electoral College, so they buy into the ‘fairness’ of negating the voters in the smaller states. We were taught the beauty of the candidates having to pay attention to ALL the states, not just the most populous ones. I fear for our country. Sorry, I don’t mean to hijack the thread, but this issue seems important and I haven’t seen any articles on the matter. (And I don’t want to do a Vanity as I have been chastised for my vanities )
I’ve seen a couple of posted free republic articles on the subject. You might have to go back a day or two.
Anyway, the Supreme Court will put an end to that madness.
