Tell me about it. And they didn't even have to technically vote "against" the bill. Just vote against "bringing it to the floor" and "ending debate" (cloture)
Whoever invented that CLOTURE rule should have bleach poured on them....and some other stuff.
But they're probly dead by now.
Aaaaaand, since I'm ranting. Neither party will EVER change that rule, cause they just might need it for when THEY are ever in the minority.
