I forgot to add Ford the hoaxer is the only one who is walking away with a big payday for her lies and smear job.
Christine Blasey Ford came close to doing the most damage.
These damn things are becoming so common we need an annual “Tawana Brawley” award for the most egregious.
3rd Place: Ford. Her lies were unsuccessful at keeping Kavanaugh off the supreme court. If the Democrats keep pushing it, Republicans can push back with all the evidence of how she lied, as well as her school's yearbook.
2nd Place: Nathan "I'm a Vietnam (Times) Veteran" Phillips. His lies made race relations worse and endangered lives.
1st Place: Democrats and the news media, for once again reminding everyone why they can't be trusted.

I vote for Christine Buzzy Ford. Juicy Smellitt is the most benign of the three even tough he’s facing possible criminal charges. His hoax didn’t slander anyone in particular the way she did.
Ford was the most damaging.

Advocates say most hate-crime reports — which have been on the rise in recent years, according to the federal government — are not found to be fake, but there have been a string of high-profile hoaxes over the past several years.
Last month, a Native American man in Washington D.C. made national headlines after he said a group of MAGA-hatted teens confronted and mocked him after he and they were coming from different marches. Video later showed that the man, Nathan Phillips, had sought out the confrontation and gotten in one of the teens’ faces.
Last November, a student at Kansas State tweeted out a picture of what she said was a racist note placed on her door. Following an investigation, police said the student admitted placing the note there herself.
In November 2016, a 20-year-old admitted he lied when he told Malden cops he was harassed by two men who he said used a racial slur, referenced lynching and proclaimed it’s “Trump country now.”
Five black Air Force Academy cadets in 2017 found racial slurs written near their rooms, leading to the school’s superintendent delivering a stern speech against racism in a viral and widely-praised video. But authorities later said one of the five cadets had written the messages.
Farther back, in Lunenburg, Mass., in 2013, police said the mother of a biracial teenager who was a member of the football team spray painted a racial slur on the side of their home, prompting vigils and a suspension of the football program.

That is a splendid idea. I wish someone like Rush would pick it up, or perhaps Tucker Carlson, and once a year do a show reprising the most infamous phony news stories of the year, and then awarding the worst one just such an award.
Kudos to Stosh for proposing such a wonderful idea.

Phillips just made himself look stupid, and had no idea such an event would happen that day, it was not a specifically planned incident. As far as I know.
Smollett just wants to drum up publicity and notoriety for himself.
Ford almost cost a good judge to lose a chance at a Supreme Court seat over something I find no reason to believe ever happened at all...not to mention the precedent that was set for future accusations of the same sort, and one of those just might work as planned.
Ford was definitely the worst of those 3.
Don’t get me started about Hillary, Comey, McCabe, Clapper, Mueller, Rosenstein...
That said....the one with the biggest lawyer fee's...is the loser.
