Explain this to me please. Did the article use the November photo as a surrogate current photo as proof she is just fine, and returning to work? YES. The journalistic standard is to say (File Photo) if the photo is not current. The NYT did NOT do this, but actually captioned the photo "R.B.G. returned to the Supreme Court on Friday"

Then the photo violates good journalistic standards, which NYT has been doing for decades.
Most of their readers would not care. They are fellow progressives.
