The German Shepherd got Group3. I have to admit he is a pretty nice type for an American shepherd, even though he has zero Dallas in him (the last really good GS, albeit weak short ears). If they keep going this way I may actually consider a “pure” American strain again.

I like cats, BTW. Hoping to get one soon. Haven’t had one in 20 years. I loved him so. He and my best GS ever, were a great pair. A good cat is great, as is a good GS.

Yep, don’t get me wrong. I love cats, too. I must; I’m feeding 40 or 50 feral cats right now, and have been for years. The group’s grown a lot since I started putting out kibble and water for them. I really should try harder to catch them and get them neutered, and get them some other basic veterinary care. Hate to think what’s going to happen to them when we move either next year or the year after.

I like having dogs and cats together.

My last pet family, all rescues, consisted of a Keeshond (most gorgeous dog in the world), MaisyJane, a medium-hair black and white kittie who’d been run over, and another run-over cat, Lucky. Had a fenced acre for them, they went out every morning and then came home for breakfast. I preferred to stay in the yard with them. Since I got them all on the same month, they all crossed the rainbow bridge within months of one another.

And now, in an apartment, I have one little rescue cat: DaisyJane. Cannot be without a pet, though I must warn you that a kitten is a PIA. All of them. So maybe adopt an adult animal.
