I'm taking the liberty of bringing this over from the end of the last thread. ROCKLOBSTER and I had been having a conversation about donkeys, which I had referenced in a rant (which has been removed from the thread because I ignorantly included a copyrighted image in it.)

I've been pulling your leg. But I'm glad for your answers and distinctions. I guess in the middle of the rant I launched into about Klobuchar in a RAGING BLIZZARD talking about climate change, I was obsessed with donkeys and neglected to make the distinction you have so ably described and defined.

JACKASSES IN THE SNOW

This JACKASS is out in the snow and is not braying or complaining about the POTUS and all the Deplorables who are preventing the wholesale destruction of this Republic and the US Constitution. This JACKASS is simply out in the snow watching it fall, and wondering "when is lunch?"

Um no snow.... but I HAD to put this here.... Please, PRETEND there is snow, OK? Surely we can do that if the Dims can pretend there is money to pay for their Green Pond Scum Program.

Also please bear in mind that this particular JACKASS is representing the ENTIRE Dim Party which is immersed in unbelievably, blind, gleeful, self-destructing behavior. This JACKASS is not intended to portray a specific member of that party. This JACKASS is braying, oblivious to the possibility of being turned into a grease spot by a large locomotive. This JACKASS is wondering (and demanding) "where is the FREE LUNCH?"

OK... here IS a specific JACKASS member of the Dim Party out in a RAGING BLIZZARD braying about CLIMATE CHANGE! This JACKASS (or to be precise, JENNYASS) is definitely OUT TO LUNCH:

The term is seemingly an appropriate representation of the entire party, but now, by contrast with your little friend, seems hardly fair to him and his kind. I guess we’ll just have to imagine a big, mean, smelly and ugly JACKASS.

Of course there’s another animal mascot they really hate (you’d think they’d resent Jackass). During the GWB campaign, there was a campaign ad which featured the words Republican and Democrat scrolling across the screen. The last syllable of the latter was the final thing to exit the screen.

The RATs whacked out about it and indicated their displeasure as being portrayed as such, hence my tendency to give them no more dignity than they deserve by referring to them as RATs.

But again, it seems unfair to actual rats.

Maybe vicious, rabid, giant rats, with festering oozing sores and a putrid stench...baby-killing, racist, predatory RATs.

Actually an animal comparison isn’t easy, since almost any animal is a better creature than a democRAT. They may be more like a flesh-eating bacteria, or a cancer, or some brain-wasting disease.

But I guess I’ll stick with Jackass and RAT....short and sweet.
