We pour full walls with rebars in our area.....not all the time.....but we can truck the stuff in.


My dad was a cement contractor who built for us something called a concrete tilt-up house. Slabs were poured on the ground then tilted up with a crane and ‘fastened’ to standing concrete pillars with cement and rebar to form the outer walls.. The house was never in a tornado, but could probably ride one out.

That’s a common construction technique for large warehouses and industrial buildings, up to 40-50’ tall walls, in say 12–15’ wide sections.
