The corrupt cycle repeats. In effect, corrupt politicians voting tax money for PP are voting a hefty kickback for themselves.
The reason that so many states are now trying to pass these insane baby killing laws is due to the status of Ruth Ginsburg. Babykillers know that when POTUS achieves confirmation of a Justice to replace Ginsburg, that Roe v. Wade is certain to be overturned, hence the mad evil scramble to change state laws ahead of a future overturning.
And it isn't just PP; also govt employee unions, AARP... I am sure there is a plentiful list. CORRUPT! So why is it legal? Because corrupt greedy carpetbaggers have made it legal.
The great irony is that the American Left has fabricated a system that forces taxpayers to finance the overthrow of their freedom!
It stinks and we need to change all that. We still prevail by the Grace of God!
So what's really happening is an indictment of an entire edifice of corruption that exists throughout all levels/regions of government. Which gets us to the main point that has been argued all along. It's not individual programs and/or special interest activities that threaten the republic. Rather, it's this monstrous octopus that has grown and ensnared everyone.
How that gets fixed is the question. The uni-party politicians, nomenklatura functionaries and dependent enterprises (that would be the MIC, et al) are all running a $multi-trillion scam. The resistance to this truth is demonstrated by the state of denial so many still express. Not you, per se, but one sees comments like "I can't believe it", as people slowly wake up to the reality of our present situation.

True, but they are also pushing the envelope further than usually acknowledged in law and court opinions. Roe v Wade was purely and simply elite eugenics legislation from the bench.
The Church leaders, Christians, and States should have immediately demanded a constitutional amendment to define a person/life as beginning at conception, and restricted abortion. It would have been a lot easier to do back then.
