Please Use Graphic Content Warnings

The content this past week has been a bitter reminder that the deeds of the Deep State are so horrifying that we may need to include "graphic content" warnings in some of our posts.

It's important that we include the horrible truth on our threads because concealing it from decent people allows indecent people to proceed with (almost) unspeakable evil.  A few times in the past few days, while reading the macabre content, I felt as if the room were suddenly too hot, that exhaustion had overcome me, and that I just might lose the quiet, unanticipated struggle with the nausea coming over me.

I overestimated what I could read because I incorrectly reasoned that politics is usually more infuriating than nauseating. Words fail me - this content is beyond evil. We need to guard ourselves and each other from becoming traumatized or otherwise impaired by this content - there's more horror out there; the Deep State has an endless supply.

While anyone could conceivably be traumatized by this kind of content, some of us are already overwhelmed with other burdens (death of a family member, illness, depression, mood disorders, divorce, job loss etc.) and trauma(s).

Please label this kind of horror GRAPHIC CONTENT at the top of your post, and include a one or two sentence, sanitized description so that we can decide whether  to come back to that post later or  to skip it entirely. This will take some practice, but ideally would be a content warning and a context hint.

For example, "GRAPHIC CONTENT: Deals with partial birth abortion." You might also follow with any prominent names, states etc.  - like keywords to help people understand without the sordid details of Deep State gore and horror. If you feel it is possible, you could add a second sentence to give those skipping it a less toxic idea of what it is about. Please draw a line under your CONTENT WARNING sentence(s) and then post your content.

THANK YOU for being willing to face what you are able; it's how we make sure this never happens again. Most following our threads have already shown a commitment to knowing the truth - but PLEASE don't take on too much. It is our patriotic duty to remain strong, healthy and have a positive attitude toward the outcome of this battle. Some on our threads are in life situations and have experience which helps them deal with the full range of evil we're facing; those who are overburdened can focus on more manageable content. Together, we're a team.

I almost included in the post above about CONTENT WARNINGs that humor and positive posts are becoming more important as the content darkens. But, I realize that sometimes humor would not be helpful when people are grappling with the deepest, most sickening evil. Yet we must bring light into this darkness.

Perhaps we will find an increased need for posts which remind us there is good in the world, and perhaps a bible verse or two or positive family memories and things for which we are grateful.

Writing the post about CONTENT WARNINGS brought the distressing content to my mind again - just in time for bed! But I came across this little image from Imgur and it helped turn my trajectory in another direction.

I will guard myself with prayer before I sleep. May God bless and protect us.

Thank you for asking for the Graphic Content warning. I’m one that has to slide past a lot because it makes me physically ill. I dont need the details to fight against it. So truly appreciate the warnings!

Thanks so much for the ‘graphic warning’ request. I still have several tabs open from prior threads that I’ve been trying to get through, but some of it is just too much for me. We need to know these things are going on, but perhaps not in graphic detail just yet.
