Yeah, about that. Why didn’t the good doctor-governor give us a little insight into what that discussion would be?
Doctor: The procedure did not go as planned. The fetus is still alive.
Mother (groggy from effort/anesthesia): Is...is it viable?
Doctor: I’m afraid that yes, with a large amount of personal care and medical help, it could continue to live. Unfortunately, the procedure exacted quite a bit of physical damage. Their is regional paralyzation and large scale physical disfigurement.
Mother: So, what are the options?
Doctor: We can sever the umbilical and place it in the NNICU until it is healthy enough to go home with you or, we can terminate it.
Mother: How much on-going care will there be?
Doctor: A lifetime.
On my way in to work the news was talking about the positive polls on the speech. They are already spinning it along the lines of ‘people who watch the speech tend to be fans of the sitting POTUS’.
Anything they can do to subvert the will of the people.

re: white hat dress: Odd choice if the point wasn’t to send a message. All the other women (I’m speaking of “our” side) seemed to be in solids, not prints.

Oh, I can relate to that. I come from a big family of wise crackers and joke tellers, and most of us have strong silliness genes. The husband just does not understand how my sisters and I can dissolve into giggles, and he just smiles at jokes that send us into gales of laughter.

The ship has sailed on this. DJT has lost a lot of confidence by allowing DS to flourish. Arrests need to be made. So far “nothing”. All could turn on things that have happened and we are currently unaware. If the Wall Funding comes thru, DJT has traded arrests for money. I would prefer he takes all or nothing! Just MHO
